Lubricated & Sleeved
Plug Valves
Sleeved plug valves are non-lubricated quarter-turn valves that achieve sealing through the use of a compressible sleeve as a sealing member. In many applications they operate virtually maintenance free for decades. Lubricated plug valves can be divided into conventional oil lubricated plug valves and pressure balanced plug valves. Special grease plug body from the top of taper and plug into the valve body between the body and form oil film to reduce the valve opening and closing torque, improve sealing performance and service life.
